Position Summary

Reporting directly to the HR Business Systems Analyst, the Coordinator, Training and Process Improvement is responsible for the development and delivery of Employee Scheduling Software (ESP) and mySchedule applications training to staff across the organization, as well as leading process improvement initiatives within the department. The Coordinator plays a lead role in the development of a comprehensive training plan for staffing services, maintaining strong relationships with the HR Operations team for collective agreement interpretations and strategic priorities. The Coordinator develops materials for all levels of training from basic to advanced and plays an integral role in the assessment of knowledge levels of staff in all scheduling offices.
The Coordinator ensures the delivered training is current and up to date with changes to collective agreements, policies, procedures, updates or enhancements to the ESP application, researching and incorporating best practices where appropriate. The incumbent will be responsible for development of new policies/procedures where applicable, and recommendations for process improvement and service delivery initiatives related to Staffing Services.
Starting salary will be approximately from $67,861 to $84,826 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualfications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Social Sciences or similar field with an emphasis on adult education and training and a minimum of three (3) years related experience preferably in a healthcare field.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and methods.
• Ability to educate in groups or one-to-one.
• Ability to analyze and interpret evaluation results of training.
• Ability to prepare written reports.
• Demonstrated understanding and ability to interpret collective agreement language and work within a unionized setting.
• Ability to conduct research and gather information using a variety of methods.
• Ability to operate related equipment including relevant computer software applications.
• Ability and willingness to travel across the Northern Health region.
• Strong change management skills.
• Ability to set and maintain priorities, meet deadlines; strong multi-tasking skills and be results oriented.
