Job Description

JYSK is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role is based out of our Head Office in Coquitlam, BC Canada. Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager. As a Graphic Designer you will be responsible for creating visual designs across various platforms, including flyers, catalogues, website graphics, packaging, newsletters, and social media graphics.
The Role

Develop visually appealing and engaging designs for print and digital media, including flyers, catalogues, website graphics, packaging, newsletters, and social media graphics.
Collaborate with the marketing and ecommerce teams to understand design requirements and create innovative solutions that align with our brand identity.
Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple design projects and meeting tight deadlines.
Maintain consistency and quality in all designs, ensuring they reflect the JYSK Canada brand values and guidelines.

What do you bring to the role?

A degree or diploma in graphic design, or a minimum of 3-5 years' experience applying Adobe Creative Suite (including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) for exceptional design work.
A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics, composition, and typography.
Proficiency in the Apple Macintosh platform, with excellent technical skills to produce high-quality designs.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Digital photography and motion graphics skills are highly desirable.

Compensation: Generally, the hiring range for this position is $45,000 to $57,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal and market equity.
