ABOUT THIS ROLE:

The Investment Banking, Research, & Marketing Technology team is looking for a Sr. Business Systems Analyst to support its Banker Experience function. This team has a focus on delivering technology solutions for Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) as a whole and the specific industry groups within it. As a member of this team, you will help lead onboardings of new technology, manage/support ongoing changes to existing technology, and help support strategic initiatives to help our business partners.

The Business Systems Analysis function covers a mandate that includes (but isn't limited to) proposing technical systems to accomplish business requirements across CIB. These experts build relationships with business partners and other groups of diverse subject matter experts and stakeholders (both internal and external) to:

• Plan + Elicit + Analyze + Document + Communicate +Manage system requirements;

• Assess client needs and recommend the right technology;

• Offer operational and process-related analysis and support; and

• Develop strong relationships with business and across internal stakeholder groups.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and support technology initiatives and onboardings for industry best technology solutions - working with many different internal stakeholder groups to ensure the technologies are assessed and meet TD standards.

• Manage changes to existing technology applications within the CIB Technology portfolio - these changes could range from minor configuration changes to major upgrade/migration changes.

• Define & document requirements, perform data/system/impact analysis, develop test plans and execute and/or support User Acceptance Testing with business partners.

• Work with technology partners (e.g. Solution Designers and Architects) to research and analyze current state system capabilities and define technology solutions options and recommendations.

• Keep management informed of projects progress and potential risks with clear and concise recommendation on risk mitigation.

• Spearhead process change efforts by working in collaboration with upstream and downstream stakeholders to detail current state and desired state end-to-end processes.

• Strong knowledge of business analysis, data mapping, quality assurance, project delivery practices and standards across the project delivery lifecycle.

• Work closely with stakeholders to determine solutions, assess impact to existing work processes and systems, and pinpoint how to manage integration.

• Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with leading-edge technologies trends/developments and develop expertise in TD services, applications, infrastructure, analytical tools and techniques that can contribute to effective solution development/delivery.

• Continuously enhance knowledge of business domains and their products/services.

• Support the development of business cases including benefits identification, RFI/RFP and service level agreements with vendors/suppliers consistent with technology requirements/guidelines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and lead problem resolution. Identifies and leads problem resolution for complex issues at all levels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Share your credentials, but your relevant experience and knowledge can be just as likely to get our attention. It helps if you have:

• Undergraduate degree or technical certificate. Business/Technology focused preferred.

• 5-8 years relevant experience.

• SDLC / Agile methodology experience.

• Experience with managing and working with SaaS applications.

• Excellent communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. Ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.

• Team focused with a collaborative mindset - ability to work cross-functionally and build strong internal partnerships.

• Knowledge and understanding of investment banking, technology trends, industry best practices, and the intersection between finance and technology.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing market conditions and business priorities.
